Lise Walbom is a leading figure in the food and agriculture sector, with more than 25 years of experience in sustainable development within national and global food systems across both the private and public sector. As CEO of the Danish public-private partnership Food Nation, Walbom creates awareness to the strongholds of the Danish agriculture and food cluster for competitive advantages in export markets. Previously, she held leadership roles at Danish Industry, on various projects that focused on business development and productivity, food innovation, and international partnerships. Key achievements include leading projects on enhancing healthy meal programs in Danish schools and developing exports of Danish organic products under the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Fisheries.

Walbom holds an MSc in Agricultural Science from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University and a diploma in management focused on strategy  development and coaching, she has effectively combined technical expertise in farming and food systems with leadership in national and global issues.
